Here is the kitchen display in a Copenhagen kitchen showroom that goes with a close up shot that I posted the other day. I’m not sure I love the floor with the busy drawer pattern, although I do like the drawers. Nice symmetry on the cooktop wall. I don’t love the back of the island…too busy. I think the floor should have been wood and the back of the island, plain. Then, it would be perfect…to me. (Image by Susan)

I LOVE this look. The simple, rectilinear shapes of the shelving allow the items within to be experienced individually and without visual clutter. A personal favorite look…but guaranteed to accumulate dust every day! From Bo Bedre magazine
I think Scandinavian design is one of the most beautiful styles in the world. Charming, modern, richly historic, light and airy, with bold color. It is extremely inspiring and nearly always has a surprising design element. Scandinavians “do” eclectic like no one else.
