Doesn’t this look like a dining room in a home rather than in a restaurant? The mix of styles and materials, the accessories and artwork and other elements just look so inviting and UNcontrived compared to so many other restaurants. It’s in a very small Inn on Bornholm, Denmark.

When I go to Denmark I mostly rent apartments. I stayed in this apartment which was in a very old building. The wall panels, old timbers and textured walls add so much charm and warmth. It’s certainly far from luxurious, but luxurious in its own way.

It means a little bit of a sacrifice of storage which should also be weighed. I can see a couple of comfortable upholstered chairs near the window to round out the kitchen as living space.
