Beautiful lighting by &Tradition, displayed at ICFF. Sensuous and understated.
Doesn’t this look like a dining room in a home rather than in a restaurant? The mix of styles and materials, the accessories and artwork and other elements just look so inviting and UNcontrived compared to so many other restaurants. It’s in a very small Inn on Bornholm, Denmark.

Kitchen display in Uno Form showroom in Copenhagen. Classic modern style mixes well with old wood and accessories with warmth.
A stunning light fixture by Le Klint, the iconic Danish brand. Beautiful proportion and details.
A mix of rustic, neutrals and modern design in this casual setting. Interesting textures and surfaces. Invita showroom Copenhagen
Simple, warm, interesting shapes, colors, grounded by a lovely rustic floor and white walls and trim-Invita showroom in Copenhagen.
Arrangement on a white wall of mostly Scandinavian artwork (except for one).
An apartment in Copenhagen. Soft, modern, lovely.
A favorite outdoor restaurant in the Nyhavn area of Copenhagen. Charm, age, living things, texture and that cozy factor adds warmth on the coldest days.

Yes, it was a surprise to see a huge image of the founder of the kitchen company, Uno Form, in their kitchen showroom, as I turned the corner to see this display, but he looks like a kind man, doesn’t he? The contrast of pattern and lights and darks, to my eye, are well balanced. It’s truly a warm, modern, kitchen, easy to live in.
Here is a closer look at yesterday’s wider shot of a part of the restaurant, Kadeau’s, main dining room. The painting, sofa, pillows tossed casually, the super cushy looking skin on the sofa, textured walls and the simple form of the coat rack could be in anyone’s home. Stylish pieces paired with common things simply works, and it’s about comfort.

A favorite fixture which is no longer hung in the Royal Copenhagen outdoor cafe area in Copenhagen. I love this lighting fixture and I wonder if it could be a DIY project. It has a feeling of a wreath.
A classic light fixture and a classic installation as well for old buildings, but the look has a modern yet timeless look.
The new Fredericia showroom in Copenhagen allows one to wander through and experience small furniture vignettes, accessories and textiles. The medium gray light stained floor contrasts in a modern way with the very bright white walls.
Modern kitchen design at the Copenhagen Unoform showroom. It’s a great contrast of neutrals.
