More inspiring colors seen in the architecture in Copenhagen. The black and green shades are perfect; imagine using those colors in a kitchen design, with accents of blue, like the door, or soft gray. Green walls in the home, or this fresh green color as countertops over black or gray cabinetry…lots of variations on the theme

A modern classic…beautiful (don’t miss) herringbone wood floors, Jacobsen’s Series 7 chairs, white, and modern, clean, lines and very interesting cabinetry with just enough pattern. The rug is certainly of great interest, and I am on the fence about it, quite honestly. Another traditional rug, yes, not sure about this one. From Rum magazine.
Tile in a shower in a gorgeous, stylish, new hostel in Copenhagen that my two boys stayed at while attending a family event. A common tile pattern in Scandinavia, simple and rectilinear. (image by Susan)
Spotted this image of a display in a kitchen showroom in Copenhagen through the window. Perfect example of one type of Scandinavian style: sleek, simple, with an unexpected shot of warmth. (Image by Susan)
