The angle is awkward but it illustrates very well exactly how a sleek black and stainless kitchen (cabinetry and countertops) works aesthetically with rustic, traditional flooring and accessories, nudging this kitchen toward a warm look and feel. Invita kitchen showroom.
Kitchen display in Uno Form showroom in Copenhagen. Classic modern style mixes well with old wood and accessories with warmth.
A current look in European kitchen design are layers of countertops, one type of surface set on top of another for different reasons such as special prep areas, dining or for an aesthetic purpose.
A fabulous, super thin countertop with integral, molded sink - precision fit for the most modern look. I like it - I think it is elegant simplicity. Uno Form showroom Copenhagen.
Timeless, simple, white modern kitchen paired with classic herringbone flooring. Less is more and this look is modern elegance. Uno Form showroom in Copenhagen. The precision fit countertop is perfect in its crisp and clean design.
A beautiful interior of neutrals, textures and contrast in lights and darks. Modern warmth. Uno Form showroom in Copenhagen.
This kitchen in the Uno Form showroom in Copenhagen features the warmth of wood combined with cool neutrals. The rustic yet classic flooring adds a needed cozy factor. The pattern of the cabinetry adds interest to the long pieces.
A showroom kitchen in Copenhagen, Invita, but it’s a good argument for a kitchen design with large, low windows and it shows how nice a big connection to the outdoors feels. It means a little bit of a sacrifice of storage which should also be weighed. I can see a couple of comfortable upholstered chairs near the window to round out the kitchen as living space.
Sleek black and white is visually softened by a shelf with decorative objects on it, a window to the outdoors and light fixtures of classic design. Invita showroom Copenhagen.

Beautiful and precision details such as exposed dovetails, inset construction and handle cutouts provide warmth and style. I love the light colored cabinetry and the cool/warm factor of wood and gray/black tones, a striking combination. Kokkensnedkeri. Image by Susan Serra

Yes, it was a surprise to see a huge image of the founder of the kitchen company, Uno Form, in their kitchen showroom, as I turned the corner to see this display, but he looks like a kind man, doesn’t he? The contrast of pattern and lights and darks, to my eye, are well balanced. It’s truly a warm, modern, kitchen, easy to live in.
A part of a kitchen that looks and feels like a living room in its simple, warm, modern, style. The hood feels like a lamp and I especially like the cooktop that spans across two cabinets below it. The floor is modern yet rustic. Beautiful neutrals.

Clean white kitchen with texture in the Invita showroom in Copenhagen-a black textured tile backsplash adds continuity and interest. The wide planked highly textured natural flooring is beautifully textured and adds warmth. A warm, modern kitchen.
A well designed white Scandinavian kitchen in Invita’s Copenhagen showroom. Good proportion on the door and drawer sizes, a modern mix of white and stainless across the entire cooking area adds continuity. A beautiful textured floor adds warmth. Lighting below the cabinets adds a floating effect.
